Miskeen Originals was born in the streets of West-Philadelphia by the hands of a dynamic artist who expressed the pain and passion of his community through his artwork on his shirts. In 1999 the hand painted garments caught the eye of retailer Dr. Denim who respected the art and put the garments in its stores. In one weekend all 200 shirts were sold. The streets had spoken and a legend began..Popularity rose quickly and soon one artist wasn’t enough. By selecting the cream of the crop, Miskeen became a team of young multi-talented artists. Together they created a unique place where hot street wear originates and people do what they love most: express their emotions through paint.
