Puma founded in 1948 in Herzogenaurach as a shoefactorie by Rudolf Dassler and his brother Adolf  "Adi" Dassler. They both went seperate ways and Adi founded, guess what? Adidas. Rudolfs first name was Ruda, but soon they realised that Puma was a better one. The had a revival in the ninties, when the company startet to go into fashion and lifestyle with their products.
